- I'm a professional author. My novels have been published by major New York firms since 1980.
- I'm a book doctor. My critiques, editing services, book proposals, and marketing advice have helped dozens of new writers get their first books published. Those books have included mainstream, science fiction, historical, horror, suspense thriller, romance, and many other category novels as well as nonfiction books of all kinds.
- I'm a creative writing instructor. Since 1988, I've been an Editorial Associate for Writer's Digest School.
